Act

This step deals with the actual achieved performance, the output of the previous step (Check).

This step closes the iteration if the performance targets are reached.

If the performance targets are not reached, a review is conducted to feed back into the planning step and start the next iteration of the performance management process.

All four steps must be well documented including the lesson learned for later use.
